Governance
Alpha Vector Research designs and sponsors institutional, quantitative index strategies. To ensure transparency and calculation integrity, our corporate architecture adheres to global benchmarking standards.
Alpha Vector Research ensures the structural integrity, mathematical rigidity, and regulatory alignment of its index strategies. Every index in our suite operates strictly on predefined, systematic rules without discretionary committee interventions.
Comprehensive methodology rulebooks, governance committee policies, business continuity plan, E&O COI and other operational documents are hosted in our secure, invitation-only Virtual Data Room (VDR).
-
Our index suites are governed by an independent, rules-based operational framework. This protocol is explicitly designed to handle all corporate actions—including corporate mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, and bankruptcies—systematically and formulaically. Human investment discretion, subjective market outlooks, and personal portfolio management preferences are entirely removed from the index administration process.
-
The underlying architecture, data ingestion pipelines, and rebalancing methodologies of our indexes strictly align with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) Principles for Financial Benchmarks. This voluntary compliance guarantees absolute calculation transparency, data verification tracking, and historical methodology integrity for all platform licensees.
-
We operate with an absolute commitment to market fairness. To maintain the highest ethical standards, we enforce a strict internal Code of Ethics across our operations:
No Front-Running: Personnel are strictly prohibited from trading any equity security based on non-public, upcoming index reconstitution or rebalancing data.
Siloed Infrastructure: All raw research data and upcoming constituent calculation matrices are housed within a secure, siloed data infrastructure and are never shared prior to the official public Announcement Date.
Zero Commercial Influence: No commercial relationships or licensing agreements can alter or override the systematic mathematical outputs of our index methodologies.
Independent Referee: To eliminate calculation conflicts, all daily pricing, dividend treatments, and corporate action adjustments are administered independently by our third-party calculation agent, Index One.
The full-length, institutional versions of our Index Committee Charter, IOSCO Compliance Manual, Errors & Omissions (E&O) policies, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) are fully documented and available for secure institutional due diligence inside our Virtual Data Room (VDR).
